Amberlee looked at the man that answered the door. She smiled a bit. “Hello, my brother, Sherlock Holmes, sent me. Did you need something?” Her smile turned a bit nervous. She hoped this was not another one of Sherlock’s wild goose chases. He likes sending her on those just to be rid of her.
He blinks, once. And then, he blinks again. “Sherlock— Sherlock Holmes? You’re his sister?” Sure, stranger things had happened, but… this ranked high among them. “I’m Ryan, by the way. Ryan Watson.”
“Well sort of his sister,” Amberlee smiled again, “and you’re a Watson. Related to John I’m assuming.” That would explain a lot though if he was related to John. It could have been John who sent her to check up on him but had Sherlock tell her otherwise.

The only Smith she knew was The Doctor. “Hold the phone,” she said now as she made a hand motion that looked as if she was trying to regulate her breathing with it, “Smith….the only Smith I know is well….The Doctor’s adopted human last name. He was calling himself John Smith but that’s too mainstream. Then I found out he was Alexander the Great or something along those lines when he was having a conversation with my dad so I was like ‘Hey, that’s better Alexander Smith.’ So yeah….The Doctor is Alex Smith….but….him….and me?” Amber stopped with the hand motions and folded her arms back across her chest.
